One of the rather major reasons, which prompted us to develop the SMART OIL DISPENSER, is that in present Oil Dispensing system of all operations are performed manually and it has many disadvantages. The customer remains highly dissatisfied, as there is a feeling that they get less quantity of Oil than the money they have paid for. Moreover it is very difficult to control the flow of oil to the accurate quantity, especially during the peak hours. Many times the quantity delivered is more than the quantity required. This causes loss to owners of the petrol pumps. This leads to dissatisfaction amongst customer as well as owners. SMART OIL DISPENSER overcomes this problem and ensures that the correct quantity is accurately dispensed and leaves no room for any kind of manual errors. The basic idea is to have a system consisting of a keyboard and a measuring unit. The keyboard is used to enter different data like rates of oil and the quantity of oil required. The system takes over the charge of an attendant as soon as the required quantity is entered and delivers the accurate quantity of oil. Oil-flow is incremented with quantity of oil and its amount is also calculated as well as displayed on the display.
